Parents' Group M3
Learning - Growing - Together
The MAZI program is a pioneering program of parallel experiential psycho-education for parents and children. Three groups (parents, children, and adolescents) operate simultaneously, addressing the same topics but in different and complementary ways. Parents participating in the group can join either individually or with their child.
The topics we will discuss in the group are as follows:
-
What does "quality time with our children" mean?
-
The "curve" of extracurricular activities.
-
Independence and boundaries - Managing conflicts.
-
Time for me. Self-determination for you.
-
Teaching our children to build equal relationships.
-
Techniques for "emotional assertion."
-
How children develop intrinsic motivation and goals.
-
Technology and the specific gaps it (should) fill.
-
Taking care of, loving, and projecting (?) our bodies.
